Short Description

The wolf resembles a domestic dog, but is usually larger and has longer legs. Its coat is yellow-brown to gray with a dark patch on its back and a black tail tip. Its chest and belly are often lighter in color. Its ears are relatively small and triangular. Its tail is bushy and is usually carried straight down. His paw prints form a strikingly straight line. They are larger than a dog's and more elongated than round. Often, the hind paw lands exactly in the print of the front paw.

The females are smaller than the males.

In the city

Wolves live in forests as well as in open landscapes, on military training grounds, or in post-mining landscapes. They are not usually found in cities. Sufficient prey and undisturbed retreats for raising their young are crucial for their habitat.
