Short Description
The early forget-me-not can grow up to 25 cm high.
The leaves are on the stem or appear to come directly from the ground (basal). They are arranged singly and alternately. They are ovate to lanceolate and finely hairy.
The plant often has only one stem. The stem grows erect and usually unbranched. It has grey hairs.
The flowers are light blue and have five petals. They are funnel-shaped and have a yellow ring in the middle. They grow in an elongated inflorescence without leaves.
The fruits are small, single-seeded nutlets. There are always four of them in the calyx of the flower.
